I think we made a new personal best for me as both the normal and the hand finished editions were sold out within 10 minutes. I know there are a few people out there who weren’t happy with the performance of the website but it seemed to go pretty smoothly for most people. V4 of eelus.com is being worked on as we speak, in a secret hangar in the desert, under a giant tarpaulin. The new site will be built in HTML and will hopefully be much more stable and user friendly.

The 4th of September sees the opening of my next show ‘Paradise Lost’ at Brooklynite Gallery in NYC with fellow stencil head C215. Jago’s latest piece has that quality to it and I can’t stop looking at it. I even made a trip up to London today to get a proper look but stupidly didn’t realise that the gallery is closed Mondays. Idiot. So for now I shall just have to gaze into this decent sized image he very kindly emailed me until I can see it in the flesh and converse with it in person.

My sources tell me that Mr Jago himself will be going into The Bunker very soon, so watch this space.

Reports are saying that these Cyclopes are eating anything and everything that comes their way, one witness even claiming he saw what appeared to be a giant grinding bones in an effort to make bread! My sources tell me that the elite of the world have already been rounded up and taken away to that safe place hidden underground. That secret facility where the likes of you and I will never venture, the place known as, The Bunker.

I wonder if it’s sheer coincidence that the latest person to be granted a place in this safe haven is the member of the Burning Candy Crew, the artist, the photographer, Lucas Price, AKA CYCLOPS!

Originating from Bristol, it’s common knowledge that Cyclops is an integral member of the hardest working crew in the UK. But it’s not all about graffiti. Lucas is obviously a born creative and has that force inside him that drives his work into many artistic directions, he isn’t afraid to explore or question, he also isn’t afraid to produce work without reason and it’s that quality that attracts me to his work. His paintings now demanding high figures in galleries and auction houses as he seems to have effortlessly and quite successfully made that transition that so many graffiti artists try and fail at.

Whether you prefer his street work or his more serious fine art direction, the one thing you can be sure of is that with Lucas, making art is as much of a necessity as breathing, it’s a vital part of who he is and why he’s here.

Lucas is also helping to raise money for fellow BC crew member Rowdy who recently lost his entire worldly possessions when his flat burned down. Artists such as Bansky, Paul Insect, Cept, Mudwig and SweetToof to name a few have all donated artwork to be auctioned off in the hope of getting Rowdy back on his feet. So what will it be? Asteroid? Nuclear? Virus? Planetary demolition for a hyperspatial bypass? Whatever it is, when the shit hits the fan where will you be? My ‘ditch kit’ is packed and ready, containing such items as a torch, water purifier, my Hellboy collection, a laminated photo of Scarlet Johansson and a box of Jaffa Cakes. But some people won’t need a ditch kit, they wont need to duck and cover under the kitchen table, they’ll be somewhere safe, somewhere secret, somewhere…underground. They’ll be in The Bunker.

The latest leaked documents from the secret Government facility reveal the name of another lucky shit who will be waiting underground with the rest of the world’s elite for the whole thing to blow over, that person is Will Barras.

An undeniable master in his field and one of the founding members of the Scrawl Collective ,Will’s unique and recognizable style flows effortlessly between the traffic of urban themed work as well as the trees and alien landscapes of his more dreamlike pieces.

It all started as simple scribbles to escape the monotony of his days working in a call centre with fellow doodler and Scrawl founder Mr Jago, but now the work that Will creates is so alive and rich that it allows us to escape and explore the vibrant worlds that he kindly shares with us.

My sources have told me there is one man who may have answers to this extraordinary tragedy and he is now being questioned within the safe confines of the mysterious ’secret’ underground base, known by the conspiracy community simply as, ‘The Bunker’. This man is Logan Hicks.

What is there to say about Logan that has not already been covered in the countless interviews that are already online and in print. He has been a consistent force in the stencil art movement for many years, never stopping, never sleeping, like a shark with a scalpel and an unstoppable need to create and express himself. When the rest of the world is asleep, you can almost be guaranteed that Logan is awake, working, thinking, taking photos and exploring the urban world that surrounds him.

His trademark style of incredibly detailed cityscapes, rendered in otherworldly colours have proven to all that this man isn’t just talented, he also isn’t afraid to put the hours in, his stencils taking weeks to prepare and cut, (hence the very fitting moniker Workhorse). He was one of the original artists who inspired me to cut my first stencil and I feel very privileged to now consider him a friend.

In October I’ll be flying to Gambia with Logan and 6 other artists to transform some rural villages into an open air art exhibition titled Wide Open Walls. If you can’t wait that long for new work by Logan, a group show with Lister, Michael Kalish and himself opened last night at the Opera Gallery in NYC. Here’s a video of Logan giving us an insight into the work behind that show and the importance of finding your own space within your environment.

An army of gargantuan demons crawled through this hell hole and have begun to obliterate the surrounding areas. Creatures born in a dimension so unlike our own that their hideous forms, constructed in a way that no sane human mind could ever dream of, are literally scaring people to death. Those who are surviving the site of these beasts are being driven insane, totally incapable to comprehend the scenes around them.

There is 1 human however who DID dream of this most hellish of places, and these creatures are pouring through the porthole speaking his name, his name is Skinner and he’s been painting these ‘things’ for years.

Skinner’s friends and family have reported that he was taken away by government officials early this morning, against his will and to an unknown location. The only clue is a discarded document found in Skinner’s bedroom that is titled ‘The Bunker’. This is what it said.

We have learned of a threat that will almost certainly end the world as we know it. Luckily for you, we have saved you a room in a top secret underground facility known as The Bunker.

Space inside The Bunker is limited, but you’re allowed 10 items to hopefully ease the pain of the apocalypse and keep you comfortable in your underground abode, while life on the surface is almost certainly wiped out by a catastrophic event. Skinner is exhibiting work at Okay Mountain in Austin Texas until May 29th. A big group show at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Rome in July will be graced with more of his darkness as will a group show in NYC at Bold Hype Gallery on June 3rd. A giant solo show at White Walls, San Francisco in August is also on the cards. For those of us who can’t quite stretch to an original piece of work, Skinner’s website will soon be updated with a new Shop section where us mere mortals can purchase affordable prints and t-shirts, sweet!

After religiously reading the awesome Juxtapoz magazine for years I’ve now been featured on the website, without wanting to sound like an extra from Point Break, I’m STOKED!
