Ereshkigal, Queen of the Dead.

I made this illustration today, based on ancient Sumerian statues of the the Mesopotamian Goddess Ereshkigal. She was the ruler of the Underworld, Queen of the dead and obviously right up my street.

New Space

Finally managed to get my fume extractor fitted today, which means painting can start at last. The new space is coming on nicely, it’s just in desperate need of more dusty old books, mounted animal heads, preserved bugs in boxes, stuffed birds and strange smelling animal skulls. I’m a sucker for unusual tat.

My next customization project…

One of the best things about living in Hastings is the mountains of random tat that fill the many antiques and junk shops here. This is my latest find, gonna paint it up a treat!

High Hopes
