Feel the Farce.

Shitty little idea I’ve had kicking around for ages. Always fancied working up an image to go with it, Luke running around the Dagobah with Yoda on his back and a Nike swoosh on his vest.

Vader Project Competition.

A long time ago, in a galaxy…well, this galaxy, 100 artists were asked to customize 100 Darth Vader helmets. You can see the results via the links at the bottom of the previous post. If you’d like to get your sticky little fingers on a copy of the project catalogue, I’ve got 4 that I’ll sign and give away if you can answer the following question.

Q: What’s one of my earliest memories as a snot nosed kid…

A: Discovering I had the Force when I paralysed next door’s cat with mind bullets.
B: Coming home to find my house on fire and my aunt and uncle burned to a crisp.
C: Being lifted out of my pushchair by Darth Vader when I was about 3 or 4.

Just leave your answer, A,B or C as a comment to this post and in exactly 1 weeks time I’ll randomly select 4 winners who will get a signed copy of the catalogue.

Good luck!

Full Metal Vader.

Around 3 or 4 years ago I was lucky enough to be sent an exact replica Darth Vader helmet to customize along with around 100 other artists for what would become known as The Vader Project. After wearing it around the house for about a month I finally got to work on it and turned the grey unpainted helmet into this…

The helmets have been doing the rounds for a good while now but will finally go to auction in Philadelphia in the U.S. on July 10th. My piece was also featured on the Telegraph website a few days back…which was nice.

You can read the full article here.

The auction is being ran by Freemans Auction House and you can see full details of that here. Check out the Vader Project’s Flickr page here. View the full catalogue here, and order a copy of the catalogue to grace your bookshelf here.

If you’re too busy spunking money up the wall on other useless shit and you can’t bring yourself to part with your hard earned cash for a copy of the catalogue, I suggest you keep checking this blog over the next week if you’d like the chance to WIN a copy.
